The 2007 Luis Valtuena humanitarian photography award
Organised by Médecins de monde, the award was established 10 years ago as a tribute to four humanitarian workers who were murdered in the field. It invites amateur and professional photographers around the world to capture the essence of humanitarian values and actions in scenes that they have witnessed first-hand during the previous 12 months.
